Wattio (legal entity Wattiocorp, SL) was a Basque smart-home startup founded around 2010-2012 in Donostia-San Sebastián by Patxi Echeveste, selling a connected hardware-plus-app system for home energy monitoring, comfort/heating control and security, later repositioned as a white-label SmartHome platform for utilities, telecoms and insurers. It raised roughly €2-4M across a 2012 Ezten FCR seed, a Series A in December 2014, an Indiegogo campaign, and a ~€2M capital increase in August 2018 in which Repsol Energy Ventures and CDTI entered the cap table. The Spanish commercial registry lists Wattiocorp SL as 'extinguida'.
