Red Karaoke
Red Karaoke was a Spanish online and mobile karaoke platform, billed as the world's first web karaoke service, letting users sing, record and share performances from browsers, smartphones, smart TVs and Facebook, with a catalogue of 45,000+ songs and distribution deals with Google TV, Samsung, LG, Panasonic and Microsoft. Founded in 2007 by brothers Miguel Ángel and Richard Díez Ferreira, it reached roughly 9 million registered users across 90+ countries and raised about €2.6M across rounds led by Clave Mayor's Ronda TIC fund (2008) and a €600k round in 2012 with Ricari, ISDI Smart Capital and business angels including Martín Varsavsky. The company is no longer operating.
