Raman Health Technologies
Raman Health Technologies was a University of Valladolid spin-off based at Parque Tecnológico de Boecillo (Valladolid, Spain) that developed a non-invasive diagnostics platform using Raman laser and infrared spectroscopy to detect biomarkers in blood plasma, with its first indication being early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative dementias. It was founded in 2013 and raised a €3M seed round led by CRB Bio II (CRB Inverbío) together with ADE Capital Sodical, plus later grant funding (~$3.9-4M total). The company is no longer operating: RAMAN HEALTH TECHNOLOGIES SL is in liquidation.
