FFundación Trilema
Fundación Trilema is a Spanish non-profit education foundation (not a venture-backed startup) founded in 1998 by pedagogue Carmen Pellicer Iborra and formally registered as a foundation in 2012; it works on educational research, teacher training, school innovation and change management, and since 2012 also directly runs a network of six 'Trilema' schools in Manises and La Pobla Llarga (Valencia), Madrid, Soria and Zamora. Beyond schools it has adjacent lines in digital/edtech solutions, vocational training, student housing and a telemedicine/remote-monitoring initiative (Movisalud). It is headquartered in Manises, Valencia, and as a foundation it has no funding stage, VC investors or startup funding history; Carmen Pellicer was named an Ashoka Fellow in 2016, which is its main 'social enterprise' credential.
