UUpSocial
UpSocial is a Barcelona-based social innovation organization that identifies, adapts and scales proven solutions to complex social challenges, working with public administrations, foundations and NGOs on project design, impact evaluation, outcomes-based contracts and social impact bonds. Founded in 2010 by a group of social entrepreneurs led by Miquel de Paladella, it is a mission-driven consultancy/association rather than a VC-backed startup, with roughly 10-15 staff and a secondary office in Toronto. Notable work includes coordinating 'Málaga No Caduca' (described as Spain's first Social Impact Contract in execution), scaling JUMP Math in Spain, and designing the Rikx social impact marketplace for the City of Rotterdam.
