Founded in 1985 in Scotland, Albyn Medical designs, manufactures and supplies diagnostic systems and consumables for urology/gynaecology (urodynamics) and gastroenterology (GI motility), now headquartered in Navarra, Spain with a production, distribution and R&D facility. It is not an independent VC-backed startup: since July 2020 it has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of UK-listed Creo Medical Group (AIM: CREO), acquired for $29.3M.
