Signadyne
Signadyne was a Barcelona-based deeptech hardware company that built high-performance modular PXI Express instrumentation and 'hard virtual instrumentation' software for electronic control, test and measurement — used in electronics & telecom, aerospace & defense, experimental physics and life sciences. It was a spin-off of ICFO (The Institute of Photonic Sciences), incubated in the ICFO LaunchPad, founded in December 2010 after its founders found no commercial equipment could run their quantum-optics experiments; it raised a ~€300K seed round in January 2013 from Caixa Capital Risc and Fitalent (everis' venture fund). Signadyne is no longer an independent company — it was acquired by Keysight Technologies on 10 July 2016 and its team/technology became Keysight's Quantum Engineering Solutions group in Barcelona.
