Fagor Grupo Mueble
Fagor Grupo Mueble (FGM) was a Basque furniture manufacturer based in Azpeitia, Gipuzkoa, formed in 2012 from the merger of three Mondragón cooperative group companies (Fagor Mueble, Danona, and Coinma) to design, manufacture, and market kitchen, home/hotel, and office furniture. It is not a VC-backed startup: after the 2013-2014 Fagor crisis and a 2015 buyout by private-equity fund Maecenas Kapital, the company (renamed Furniture Group Mueble SL) entered bankruptcy liquidation in 2018-2019 and was formally dissolved/deregistered in March 2024, so it no longer operates.
