PParkimeter
Parkimeter is a Barcelona-based online parking search and booking platform that lets drivers reserve and pre-pay spots in guarded car parks — near airports, train stations and city centres — at discounts of up to 80%, alongside a B2B product for car park operators to handle mobile payments. Founded in 2013 by two 'senior-preneurs' out of a Barcelona garage and part of the Itnig startup ecosystem, it bootstrapped early, raised a €250,000 angel round in July 2016, and expanded from Spain into Italy (2017), Portugal (2018) and France (2019), reaching over 1,000 partner car parks and 100,000+ customers. It is no longer an independent startup: EasyPark Group acquired Parkimeter in January 2021 (founders stayed on board), and it now operates as a brand within the EasyPark/Arrive group.
