LetMeSpace is a Spanish peer-to-peer marketplace — often described in the press as "the Airbnb of storage units" — that lets individuals and small businesses rent out unused storage rooms, garages and parking spaces to neighbours at prices well below traditional self-storage. Founded in Barcelona in June 2014 by Etienne Darbousset and Christian Picard, it came out of the Conector accelerator and expanded to Madrid, Valencia, Seville and Bilbao, reporting ~1,000 listed spaces and ~2,000 users per city by 2016.
