SSipay
Sipay is a Spanish fintech specialising in payment technology, offering merchants a single integration for cards, Bizum, PayPal, Apple Pay, bank transfers, BNPL/financing, digital Tax Free and in-person POS software (Sipos, for the Horeca sector), plus acquiring and multi-acquiring services. The business traces back to Sipec, founded in 1994, and now operates as the Sipay Plus group from Alcobendas (Madrid) with roughly 50-200 staff; it grew ~60% in 2025, acquired Pikotea in 2025 and took full control of Sipos in 2026. In 2026 it became the first Spanish payments fintech to integrate the full Bizum operating set from a single platform, and was selected by the ECB among ~36 euro-zone providers to test the digital euro.
