Sabbatic is a Spanish B2B SaaS company that digitises and automates the management of employee expense receipts and supplier invoices, using AI/deep-learning OCR combined with human validation to extract accounting and analytical data, classify spend across 3,000+ categories, and push it into ERP/CRM systems such as SAP, Oracle and Salesforce. It sells on a pay-per-active-user model to mid-market and enterprise clients in food & beverage, industrial, automotive & logistics and audiovisual sectors, with named customers including Angulas Aguinaga, Tecnalia, Basque Culinary Center, Grupo Velatia and Donostia Kultura. Sabbatic is headquartered in San Sebastián (Donostia), Basque Country; it is a small team (~10 people) that emerged from Deusto University's Innogune incubator and won best startup at the STARTinnova Summit 2016.
