Savvy Data Systems is a Basque industrial technology company that connects machines, plants and shopfloors to turn manufacturing data into actionable insight, offering advanced monitoring, IIoT/data engineering and AI-based Manufacturing Intelligence products (Savvy MEC, Savvy PI) for OEE and process optimisation. It serves machine-tool, plastics, chemicals, steel, automotive, aeronautics, food, paper and energy manufacturers, with several hundred connected factories and thousands of connected machines worldwide. It is not a VC-backed startup: founded in 2010 in Donostia-San Sebastián as an intrapreneurship spin-out of software firm Syslan, it is a corporate-owned company (DANOBATGROUP is the majority shareholder, with Fagor Automation, Fagor Arrasate and IPF also on the cap table) of roughly 20-30 employees.
