MEK Group

MEK Group (Metal Engineering Knowledge) is a Basque industrial group that manufactures multi-technology metal components for the e-automotion/e-mobility sector, covering machining, stamping/forming, transfer technology, CNC and non-ferrous forging. It traces its origins to Mecalbe, founded in 1979 in Eibar, and was constituted in its current group form in 2016 around a project led by Javier Alcoba; it now spans ~11 production plants and 400+ employees with operations in Spain, Germany, China, Mexico and the USA, and revenues above €33M. It is a mature manufacturing group backed by Basque family offices and private-equity-style shareholders.
