Renertia Gestión Solar SCR is a Spanish venture capital/private equity vehicle (Sociedad de Capital Riesgo) dedicated to developing and investing in renewable energy generation companies and power plants, principally solar photovoltaic assets. It is not a startup but an investment vehicle managed by Renertia Investment Company SGEIC, S.A., the first CNMV-authorised venture capital management company headquartered in La Rioja (CNMV register no. 91); registered entities in the family include Renertia Gestión Solar II SCR-Pyme, S.A. and Renertia Gestión Solar III SCR-Pyme, S.A., the latter with €55m share capital and a pipeline of ~137 MW of PV plants in La Rioja. It is headquartered in Logroño (La Rioja) and employs roughly 6 people at the management company.
