Filmin
Filmin is a Spanish subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) streaming platform founded in Barcelona in 2007, specializing in independent, arthouse and European cinema, classic films, documentaries and series, with a catalog of roughly 15,000 titles. It also produces original content (e.g. the series "Doctor Portuondo") and runs the Atlántida Film Fest online festival; it operates in Spain, Portugal and Mexico (via FilminLatino). In November 2020, investment funds Nazca Capital and Seaya Ventures acquired a majority (51-72%) stake for an estimated ~€20M, with the founders remaining as shareholders and continuing to lead the company.
