Potasas de Subiza
Potasas de Subiza, S.A. (POSUSA) is a Navarre public-sector company, wholly administered since 2012 by Sodena (Sociedad de Desarrollo de Navarra), the regional development agency. Founded in 1985, it began operations in 1986 producing and selling mineral fertilisers (mainly potash) plus chemical and metal products derived from potassium and sodium salts; it abandoned mining at Subiza in 1997 when reserves were exhausted and transferred sodium salt manufacturing to a subsidiary (now Salinas de Navarra, S.L.U.). Its activity today is limited to managing its property assets and the environmental restoration of its former facilities; it is based in Beriain, Navarra, and has no venture funding.
