SIC Lázaro
SIC Lázaro is not a startup: it is a family-owned industrial manufacturer founded in 1978 in Corella (Navarra, Spain) as Industrias Lázaro y Rojas S.L., renamed Sic Lazaro S.L. in 1986. It makes concrete, iron and high-density counterweights for elevators, plus large counterweights and machinery chassis, and claims to supply over 60% of the counterweights installed in Europe, with plants in Spain (Corella, Buñuel), Poland, Brazil and formerly the US, around 400 employees and roughly €58M revenue in 2025. It operates as part of the family holding Corlago Group.
