Natac Group is a Spanish biotechnology company that researches, develops and manufactures botanical extracts and functional oils (including omega-3 lipids) for the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics and animal nutrition industries. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Getafe (Madrid), it operates production plants in Hervás (Cáceres) and As Somozas (A Coruña) — the latter billed as Spain's largest omega-3 plant — plus commercial offices in the USA and Singapore. It is no longer a private startup: after merging with IFFE Futura in 2023 it trades on BME Growth as Natac Natural Ingredients, S.A. (ticker NAT), and it leads the €22M SUSTAINEXT project funded by the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking.
