Trappit is a Madrid-based travel technology company that builds post-ticketing airfare re-shopping software for corporations and travel agencies. Its proprietary ARPO (Airline Reservation Price Optimisation) algorithm monitors fare movements on already-issued tickets from purchase until departure and alerts agencies when the same flight can be rebooked cheaper, claiming savings of roughly 3-6% of air spend. Founded around 2013, it raised a €700k angel round in 2015 and a €2M round in 2017 led by Swanlaab Venture Factory with Sabadell Venture Capital, and expanded to the US (Newport Beach, CA). Both co-founders have moved on; Daniel de Carvajal now co-founds and leads Luda Partners.
