Woom

Woom is a Madrid-based femtech company founded in 2015 that built an AI-powered period-tracking and fertility app, offering personalised cycle/ovulation calendars, medically-reviewed content and community support for people trying to conceive, plus a B2B2C 'Woom for Business' offering and a collaboration with pharma group Ferring. It reached roughly 1.8 million registered users across Spanish- and English-speaking markets and claimed to have supported over 150,000 pregnancies, raising about €3.4M across seed rounds (including a Crowdcube campaign) before being acquired by UK/France virtual fertility clinic Apricity in May 2022. Its parent Apricity ceased all operations on 1 January 2025.
