Matricería Galega
Matricería Galega (Matrigalsa) is a Galician industrial company founded in 1982 in O Porriño, Pontevedra, that designs, manufactures and maintains high-pressure die-casting molds and tooling in aluminium and magnesium for the automotive and aeronautics sectors, with an additional plant in Zapopan, Mexico. It employs roughly 75-85 people, produces 60+ tools a year and holds ISO 9001/14001 certifications, serving international automakers and foundries. It is a 40+ year old family-founded manufacturer that was acquired in 2017 (~€9M) by private equity firm Clave Mayor (CM Corp) together with the Galician regional fund Xesgalicia/Sodiga and its management team.
