Cocopool
Cocopool is a Spanish marketplace that lets people rent private pools, gardens, terraces and indoor spaces by the hour for celebrations and events — often described in the press as "the Airbnb of swimming pools". Founded in Barcelona in 2022 by the Xalabardé brothers after their family lost its pool, it has grown to over 1,000 active listed spaces across Catalonia, Madrid, Valencia, Andalusia and other regions, serving roughly 50,000 users, with AXA insurance cover for hosts. In April 2026 it raised €435,000 (€265k equity plus a €170k ENISA participative loan) to scale nationally and expand toward southern France and Portugal.
