Tirecat Health
Tirecat Health is a Barcelona-based medical polymer company and spin-off of the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2/CSIC), developing bioinspired, biocompatible adhesive membranes with antimicrobial and regenerative properties for chronic and severe wounds. Its first product, PyroH, targets diabetic foot ulcers, venous ulcers and burns, and is claimed to accelerate tissue regeneration by up to 40% versus conventional therapies while preventing infection. It closed a first round of €170,000 from Grow Venture Partners in 2025, was named best Deep Tech startup at Transfiere 2025, and has signalled plans to raise around €1.6M as it moves toward clinical trials.
