Sporttips is a Barcelona-based digital marketplace that connects amateur and professional athletes with certified specialists and sports services, including physiotherapists, nutritionists, personal trainers, podiatrists, sports doctors and sports psychologists. Users reach it through its iOS and Android apps, and it also sells a premium subscription. The company runs a B2B2C model, with agreements with Spain's Consejo Superior de Deportes, sports federations, clubs, gyms, race organisers and wellness companies, and it is endorsed by elite athletes such as Alexia Putellas, Ona Carbonell and Teresa Perales. It was founded in 2021 by former Nike executives Marcos Garzo and Carlos Homedes and operates as Serve Athletes S.L. It raised a €700,000 first round in June 2021 with Scranton, the investment firm linked to the Grifols family, and took part in the Lanzadera accelerator. In January 2023 it closed a €1 million second round led by Scranton and Innova Sport to support expansion into Mexico and the United States.
