Citec Solutions (branded CITEC / CITEC AI) is a B2B WealthTech that sells an AI-powered investment platform to private banks, RIAs, family offices, asset and wealth managers, and online brokers. The product covers portfolio aggregation (30,000+ assets), analytics, screeners and comparators, tax-efficient rebalancing, trade execution and a generative-AI 'AI Copilot'. Founded in 2021 by ex-McKinsey engagement manager Fernando Domecq, it is a small team (roughly 3-10 people) operating between Madrid and Miami; in January 2023 it raised about €500K (~$545K) from business angels specialised in asset management, and it has collaborated with Spanish universities (Loyola, Carlos III, CUNEF) and US ones (Miami Dade, University of Miami, WPI, Wharton).
