OOrain
Frekuent (founded and formerly known as Orain, rebranded in 2025) is a Barcelona-based fintech that turns unattended, self-service machines into connected cashless payment and loyalty points. Its Frekuent Spot payment devices, Frekuent Space management platform and consumer app serve vending and coffee machines, laundromats, EV chargers, parking, gyms, hotels and service stations, with 10,000+ systems installed and a stated shift from B2B to a B2B2C loyalty/recurrence model plus a strategic agreement with Visa. It raised a €6M pre-Series A in February 2025 led by Acurio Ventures and K Fund (via Leadwind) to expand across Europe and into LatAm and Asia and grow headcount from ~40 to ~70; it also has a Singapore office.
