AAdamo Robot
Adamo Robot is a Madrid-based medtech company that develops a collaborative robot for physiotherapy. It treats musculoskeletal disorders without touching the patient, using temperature-controlled pressurised air, and has a 3D camera and a thermographic camera to support diagnosis. The company sells the device to rehabilitation centres, hospitals, clinics and sports facilities. Customers include San Pedro public hospital in Logroño, Sanitas clinics in Madrid, Laubidea in Vitoria and IMED Valencia, and it also has a presence in India, the Philippines, Ecuador, Lithuania, the United Arab Emirates and the United States. Sales grew fourfold in 2022, and it works on research with CIBIR and Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. Adamo Robot was founded in 2021 as a joint venture between Inspiralia Advanced Technologies and Clínica Ordóñez. It has raised about $2 million, including a €450,000 round from Inspiralia and Ricari in 2022, with further backing from Desarrollo de Inversiones Riojanas, IMPACT Accelerator and UnLimited Spain, plus public funding from ENISA and EU programmes.
