BBitsphi Diagnosis
Bitsphi Diagnosis is a Madrid-based neurotechnology company that develops EEG-based diagnostic tools built on brain connectivity patterns, starting with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Its cognitive model combines Shannon's information theory with a Go/No-Go cognitive task to produce a biomarker, and a clinician-facing application presents the results so healthcare professionals can make better-informed diagnoses. The company was founded in 2021 by telecommunications engineer Álvaro López-Medrano, together with the Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience Laboratory led by Dr. Fernando Maestú. It holds Spain's Innovative SME seal and received a Torres Quevedo grant in 2024. In its first funding round, a €2.85M round led by Bullnet Capital, the state innovation agency CDTI co-invested €1.35M through its Innvierte programme.
