Zenith Sports, formerly known as Construyendo Fútbol, is an Ávila-based online education platform for sport. It trains football coaches, physical trainers, other team staff and players, and has since added basketball and padel divisions. It sells online courses, expert programmes, master's degrees and university qualifications, including a football coaching master's run with Real Valladolid. It also offers subscription access and a mobile training app for young players aged 12 to 20. Its content is built with more than 200 professionals from clubs such as Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid, Arsenal and Juventus, and it has students in more than 50 countries. Ángel Encinar Luengo and former Atlético de Madrid physical trainer Iván Díaz Infantes founded the company in Ávila in 2021, through the Ávila 1131 entrepreneurship programme. It went on to join the Wolaria, SEKLab and Lanzadera accelerators. In July 2022 it closed a €200,000 round from business angels including Sascha Badelt, Antonio Huerta, Juan Pablo Herrera and Óscar Fuente, which brought total public and private funding to more than €280,000.
