EEfitrans Global Logistics
Efitrans Global Logistics is a Vigo-based engineering and innovation group, operating under the Efitransa brand, that designs new-generation truck trailers aimed at making road freight more efficient and cutting its emissions. Its products include the Polyvalent Truck, which can carry either finished vehicles or parts and so reduces empty return trips for automotive logistics, and the Cargo Truck, a higher-capacity general-cargo trailer with side and rear loading. The company holds 15 internationally registered patents. It was selected by the PSA Group (now Stellantis) as one of its 20 best start-ups worldwide in 2017, won the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance global innovation award in 2018, and has produced units for Renault and other customers. It was founded in Vigo in 2015 by the Aperturavante business group and went through the Business Factory Auto accelerator. Its funding includes a €2 million participatory loan from the venture capital firm Vigo Activo and up to €2 million from the Xunta de Galicia through Sodiga and XesGalicia to move its manufacturing to Galicia.
