TrustWorks, formerly QueryLayer, is a Valencia-based software company that runs a privacy management and AI governance platform for enterprise privacy, legal and compliance teams. The SaaS platform automates data mapping, records of processing activities (RoPA), data subject requests, privacy and AI risk assessments, consent management and vendor risk, and supports compliance with GDPR, CCPA and the EU AI Act. Customers include Randstad, Glovo, Westinghouse Electric, VTEX, Deliverect, Fenergo, Fexco and Luno, and the product won Most Impactful Data Privacy Product at the PICCASO Awards Europe. Founded in Valencia in 2020 by Pádraig O'Leary and Krzysztof Szypillo, the company raised a pre-seed round from Seedcamp, a €2M seed round led by Nauta Capital in 2021, and a further seed round led by Elkstone Ventures in August 2025.
