Giants Gaming

Giants Gaming is a Málaga-based esports and gaming entertainment organisation that fields professional teams in titles such as League of Legends and Valorant, and earns revenue from sponsorships, merchandise and content with brand partners including Vodafone, Nike and Nestlé. Founded in 2008 in Málaga, it got a professional business structure in 2012 when José Ramón Díaz and Virginia Calvo came in through Atlas Informática. In December 2023 it merged with the British club Excel Esports to form GIANTX, which has offices in Málaga, London and Berlin, about 60 employees and around €6 million in revenue in 2024. In 2020 it closed a €3 million round led solely by Grupo Sánchez Cózar, at the time the largest investment round ever raised by a Spanish esports club.
