Netex is a digital learning company. It builds corporate e-learning technology and content for large enterprises and SMEs. Its products are Netex Cloud, a set of learning-management and learning-experience applications; Netex Studio, which creates custom training content; and Virtual College, a catalogue of on-demand courses. The company says it serves more than 300 large corporate clients, including Amazon, Inditex, Telefónica, Santander, Airbus and BNP Paribas, as well as more than 40,000 small and medium-sized businesses and over 6 million users. Carlos Ezquerro and José Ramón Mosteiro founded Netex in 1997 in A Coruña, Galicia, where it is still based in Oleiros. It also has offices in Madrid, Barcelona, the UK, the US and Latin America. In 2017 it became the first Spanish e-learning company to list on the stock exchange (BME Growth). Inveready later backed it with a €3M convertible bond. In 2024 the private equity firm bd-capital bought the company through a delisting tender offer that valued it at more than €65M, and the founders stayed on as shareholders and managers.
