Mediance
Mediance is a Bilbao-based healthcare distribution and services platform created in 2025 as a buy-and-build vehicle by Basque private equity firm ABE Capital Partners, aiming to consolidate the fragmented Spanish healthcare distribution market with value-added services and a strong proprietary-technology component. It has grown by acquisition, absorbing Matclinic and Mape (March 2025), Essentia (July 2025) and, in February 2026, Valencian hospital-IoT/real-time-location startup Mysphera. It is a private-equity-backed holding company rather than a VC-funded startup.
