TTelemedicine Clinic
Telemedicine Clinic (TMC) is a Barcelona-based teleradiology provider that delivers subspecialist diagnostic imaging reporting — elective, out-of-hours and emergency — to hospitals across the UK, Sweden and Denmark, using a network of 350+ accredited radiologists in Neuro, Body, MSK and Emergency radiology. Founded in 2002, it is not an early-stage startup: it raised roughly €7M from Kennet Partners in 2007 after earlier backing from Invernova and Active Capital Partners, and was acquired by European diagnostics group Unilabs in 2017, now operating as 'TMC, a Unilabs company'. It runs its own reporting platform (Optemis, launched 2013), was the first teleradiology provider with ISO 27701 certification (2021), and has partnered with Aidoc on AI diagnostics and with Hospital Clínic Barcelona.
