LlaTostadora
laTostadora is a Spanish print-on-demand e-commerce marketplace where independent artists and designers open free online stores and sell their designs on t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, posters, phone cases and other custom products, with the company handling printing and fulfilment in-house. Founded in 2004 in the Barcelona area by engineers who started printing in a garage, it operates from its own factory and HQ in Badalona (Eduard Maristany 352-354) under the legal entity Nextalia Ventures S.L., with roughly 40 employees and a catalogue of over a million designs; it also runs the international site tostadora.com. It is a bootstrapped, founder-owned business rather than a VC-backed startup, and underwent a change of ownership in August 2021.
