PromoFarma
PromoFarma is a Barcelona-based online marketplace for health, beauty and personal-care products that connects consumers directly with hundreds of European pharmacies and brands, selling parapharmacy items, supplements, skincare and OTC products. Founded in 2012, it raised roughly $12M across five rounds from investors including Kibo Ventures, Vitamina K and Stanford's StartX before being acquired in September 2018 by the Swiss group Zur Rose (now DocMorris), and it now trades as 'PromoFarma by DocMorris' and serves as the group's technology hub for Southern Europe. It is no longer an independent startup.
