Qbitia (legal entity QBT Solutions S.L.) is a Spanish fintech founded in 2011 that builds software for the financial industry: market data management (QDN), risk classification of financial instruments (QRIF), synthetic time-series generation (QSYNTH) and its award-winning cloud algorithmic trading platform QCAID, which won Best Automated Algorithmic Trading Platform at the 2016 Technical Analyst Awards. Its clients are banks, brokers, asset managers, exchanges and insurers, and it serves them from Pontevedra (HQ) with additional offices including Madrid, Barcelona, Vigo, London and Chicago. It is no longer an independent startup — it has been part of Grupo Solventis since 2020, its last disclosed VC round was a 2014 Series A, and it is a small team (~14 employees).
