Qualitas Energy is a renewable energy and energy transition investment and management platform founded in 2006, with its main operational base in Madrid and offices across Europe and Latin America. It raises and manages private funds (roughly €5bn across six funds and co-investment vehicles) to finance, develop and operate wind, solar PV, CSP, battery storage, run-of-river hydro and renewable natural gas assets, and it built and exited platforms such as Fotowatio/FRV and Vela Energy. It is an infrastructure/private equity fund manager and asset developer rather than a venture-backed startup.
