Emagister
Emagister is a Spanish online learning marketplace, founded in Barcelona in 2000, that lets users compare and discover courses, degrees and training programs from universities, institutes and training centers across roughly 14-15 countries. It monetizes primarily through lead generation for training providers rather than hosting its own courses. The company was acquired in May 2022 by the Educaedu group, backed by Barcelona private equity firm Miura Partners, so it now operates as a mature, PE-owned business rather than an independent VC-track startup.
