WwesmartPark
wesmartPark is a Barcelona-based parking marketplace and proptech/mobility platform, often described as the "Airbnb of parking": its technology turns underused private parking spaces (in residential buildings, offices and hotels) into automated smart parking, letting owners rent them by the minute for up to 3x monthly-rental income while drivers park up to 50% cheaper, using the phone as the garage remote. Founded in Barcelona in 2012-2013 by Jaume Mayor, it operates in Barcelona and Madrid plus Latin America (Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Lima), and reports over 1 million parking services managed, €6M+ generated for owners and 250,000+ registered drivers. It has raised roughly $1.6-2.5M (last disclosed round a ~€1.5M/$1.58M seed in 2017) from corporate and institutional backers, won a World Summit Award in 2016, and remains a small team (~8-16 employees).
