Uvinum
Uvinum was a Barcelona-based online marketplace and price-comparison site for wine, beer and spirits, founded in 2009 by three ex-Softonic colleagues and accelerated by SeedRocket. It raised roughly €2M across three seed rounds (2010, 2011, 2013) from Cabiedes & Partners and angel investors, grew to a catalogue of 90,000+ products and over €10M in sales, and was acquired by French drinks group Pernod Ricard in 2018. The company is defunct: it was rebranded Drinks&Co in 2020 and ceased activity on 11 May 2023, redirecting customers to sister brand Bodeboca.
