Validated ID
Validated ID is a Barcelona-based digital trust company founded in 2012 that provides electronic signature and digital identity services, including its VIDsigner e-signature suite, the VIDchain self-sovereign identity platform and the EBSI-compliant VIDwallet. It is a Qualified Trust Service Provider under the EU's eIDAS regulation, issuing qualified certificates, seals, timestamps and registered electronic delivery, and it contributed to the EU policy work that brought decentralised identity and digital wallets into eIDAS2. In February 2025 Validated ID was acquired by and integrated into Signaturit Group (a Namirial company), so it now operates as part of that group rather than as an independent startup.
