Medical Plasmas is a Spanish medtech/deeptech company that designs, develops and commercialises medical devices generating cold atmospheric plasma for clinical use. Its lead product, PlasmAction Med, is presented as the world's first medical device with a cold air plasma jet, targeting chronic wounds and ulcers through antimicrobial, regenerative and angiogenic effects, with dermatology and surgery modes. Founded in December 2021 as a spin-off from the research of Daniel Cortázar and Ana Megía Macías, it is headquartered at the CEIN innovation incubator in Noáin (Navarra). It has run clinical trials at Clínica Universidad de Navarra's Madrid and Pamplona sites and won a 2023 EmprendeXXI award.
