MMr Jeff
Jeff (originally launched and still widely known as Mr Jeff) is a Valencia-based on-demand everyday-services platform that started in 2015 as an app-based home laundry and dry-cleaning pickup/delivery service and scaled through a low-cost franchise model to roughly 2,000 franchises in 40+ countries, later adding beauty (Beauty Jeff), fitness (Fit Jeff), coworking and coffee verticals. It raised about $130M+ from international VCs and was a candidate to become a Spanish unicorn. The company collapsed — operator Mr Jeff Labs entered concurso de acreedores (insolvency) in 2023 after months of unpaid salaries and supplier debts, withdrew its rescue/settlement offer in 2024 and went into liquidation; as of 2026 co-founder Eloi Gómez and two executives face an oral trial for alleged fraud.
