Merino-wool sneaker brand Yuccs raised more than €400,000 in the first 48 hours of an equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube, doubling its initial target; the campaign was aimed at around €1 million and later reported above €500,000, with founder Pablo Mas putting in €100,000 himself. Proceeds are for consolidating Spain, international expansion and production capacity; there is no institutional lead as the round is retail crowdfunding.
