Kampaoh's first funding round, €300K led by Barcelona angel fund Encomenda Smart Capital, used to grow the team, continue operational and technological development and extend beyond Andalusia to Catalonia, Cantabria and Galicia with 400+ equipped tents, plus the Kampaoh UP and Kampaoh GO lines and a planned first site in Bogotá. Press coverage (El Referente, Capital-Riesgo, Smart Travel News) appeared in April 2021 and Encomenda listed Kampaoh among its 2021 new investments, though later articles date the round itself to 2020; only the month of announcement is known.
