Argilla closed a second, larger seed round of about $5.5M (Crunchbase dates it 10 November 2023; Tracxn records it as 19 October 2023 at $4.55M), led by US seed fund Eniac Ventures with existing backers Zetta Venture Partners and Caixa Capital Risc / Criteria Venture Tech re-upping alongside new investor SAV (Scale Asia Ventures). The round was never issued as a press release and is only documented in deal databases; it took Argilla's total raised to roughly $7M before Hugging Face acquired the company for about $10M in June 2024.
