HESStec (Hybrid Energy Storage Solutions S.L.) raised a €2.3M Series A from three energy-sector corporate investors: Elewit (technology platform of the Red Eléctrica/Redeia group), Quantum (Capital Energy's corporate venturing vehicle) and RIC Energy, with none named as lead. The company said it would double its workforce within 15 months and open its Advanced Grid Lab for storage systems at the Paterna technology park in Valencia.
